Yes, the BOBS website is back to bring you week to week reports on the current competition results, the eclectic table and any other news that may interest or amuse you.

WHO ARE THE BOBS

For those of you who do not know about us we will explain.

The BOBS (Brora Old Boys) are senior members of Brora Golf Club who play 15 holes under stableford rules on each Tuesday morning (Weather permitting). The current office holders are:

Captain:                             Ronnie Sim
Vice captain:                      Billy Ballantyne
Secretary:                          John Beaney
Treasurer:                           Billy Bell

We are always pleased to welcome visitors who wish to join us who do not necessarily have to be senior citizens and often during the summer months we have quite an international field.

The competition fee is £2 plus 10p for each bunker which you land in. The best three cards earn a voucher for the club shop.

Surplus funds are donated to local causes and charities to whom we have been able to give over £3,000 during the last three years.

All players are automatically entered in the summer or winter eclectic competitions and if anyone achieves that magic hole in one the BOBS fork out for drinks all round.
